my whole gun room is 13.5' x 8' and you saw what i put in it. you just need to be more efficient with your spaceI use a spare bedroom. Wish it was bigger, but it works. I use the walk in closet as a bullet storage and RCBS station for shoulder bumping and small base loading. Use the main room for the CoAx I use for seating everything else.
The best thing is the three windows. A pond view through two and a woods view through the other.
And in solitude.Bill Forrester(HOF'er) use to travel to matches all over in a van, loading inside.
I asked him one day about shooting a 22 in BR, and if they ever scored him wrong, as a 6. His words..." I count on it!"And in solitude.
He did not like anyone knocking on the door and taking a look.
He probably made the best 22 caliber bullet ever.
No bedroom furniture. Not enough vertical storage. All the wall space is utilized.my whole gun room is 13.5' x 8' and you saw what i put in it. you just need to be more efficient with your space
unless by spare bedroom you mean it still has to retain an actual bed inside of it, then I understand your conundrum.
That's why I have my own "mancave" No not really. I have to say when my reloading room was in the spare room in the house my wife did not object or bother me at all.I see who wears the pants in a lot of houses. Lol! Smart men!
My comment was in jest, of course...but it's nice to see a real man amongst us. Lol!That's why I have my own "mancave" No not really. I have to say when my reloading room was in the spare room in the house my wife did not object or bother me at all.
can you get a nice husky toolbox in there? worked wonders for me for storageNo bedroom furniture. Not enough vertical storage. All the wall space is utilized.
Custom cabinets would do wonders for me. Or anyone for that matter.
My workspace is like this, except not quite as organized.I’ll admit, right now it is a bit disorganized as I’ve been working with 4 rifles the past few days…
But on the plus side, I know where everything is.
I don’t think a toolbox would fit.

well i meant fit through your house and door. you could clean up so much of that with a 72" toolbox. remember the toolbox serves as new tabletop space as well.I’ll admit, right now it is a bit disorganized as I’ve been working with 4 rifles the past few days…

What he has ^^^^^^^.My favorite part of the reloading room is the whole thing. I took 1/2 of a bay in my 3-bay shop and made it my mancave. It's only 12' X 12' and tight but it is "my space" where I spend probably 75 to 80 % of my time awake. The fact that I can take about 10 steps and be in my still under construction 12' x 20' shooting room behind the shop makes it even handier. Very easy to work up loads while testing as well. I only have 100 yds. here at my hole in the woods to shoot but all in all it beats having to load up every time I want to go shoot and no range fees to contend with either. I feel blessed to have it no doubt.
Yep, at some point in the near future I hope to have my shooting room completed. Not in a huge hurry at all as I can shoot there anyway. What he has ^^^^^^^.
But mine is 20x20 and a 200yd range. And I spend 80 to 90% of my time. Man Cave.
As you know already, mirage can be absolutely brutal at times but it sure beats not shooting in really cold or hot temps. It's far from as perfect as some think but I'm not about to complain about it eitherYep, at some point in the near future I hope to have my shooting room completed.
