What is your favorite part of your reloading room?

My friends are jealous. The window of my reloading room over looks my small pasture where I built 50, 100 and 200 yard targets. While I have to sit on the floor I built a shooting bench window height and can put my chronograph on the roof. Sure makes load development handy.

I love looking at old targets. Gave up and took pictures of them to store on the computer and tossed a lot of the paper. I still keep a few of them. Have some that my Dad shot in the 90's. Brings back good memories. He has been gone over 20 years now.

When I started playing with the 17 Hornet I got down to pretty decent groups. Then read an article in 2013 that listed AA1680. It was there in the books all along. Went and found a bottle of it and presto, game changer.
I never thought of digitizing the targets. That would make some room in the shop!

I don’t have a finished picture in my phone and I’m too lazy to walk down to the range, but my favorite part is it’s on my range about 40 yards from my house. The second favorite part is my birdseye pine walls n ceiling with a little cedar to offset it.

It is my reloading bench, which I built. It is 6 ft long, with a 1/2 " thick aluminum plate inset into a 1 1/2 in thick top. It is tapped for each of my reloading presses. The bench is lagged into the concrete foundation in the rear. It DOES NOT MOVE when using the presses.
Drawers for tool heads, primers, powder and tools are on full extension ball bearing drawer slides.

I have an old Kenwood and Sansui speakers that I run while loading or doing maintenance. Volume depends on if the better half is home.

They don't make this stuff anymore.
It's been in my reloading room and my Volume depends on my wife being home.

I'm a big fan of stereo equipment from the 70's, the sound is unmatched. I have a few old receivers, turntables, and speakers from the mid to late 70's...I've sold off a lot of my collection, but will be keeping what I have left. This is one of those things, like guns, that can be an expensive hobby to get into.

I sold my Cerwin Vega speakers when we moved to a smaller house. Phantom of the Opera would cause dust to float out of the ceiling. Gosh I miss that.

I felt the same way when I had to sell my Altec Lansing voice of the theater speakers and the Teac Rtr. #3 kid was on the way....
