What is a good 5 shot 6br group at 100?

I am new to 6br but not new to shooting. What is a good group at 100 with a long range bullit like a 105 to 107. Got my new savage f-class 30 ' 6br to shoot 1/4 inch 5 shot groups on second day after 60 rounds down barrel. My 223 savage f/tr 30" is close to that but I give the edge to the 6 br at 100 yards. I havent shot the 6br in a comp yet but plan on it in . Might shoot f-open or benchrest at Sac Valley but just shooting f/tr for now with my 223 and 308 and just would like to know what kind of group I would need to compete with my 6 br in benchrest or f/open. Thanks for any input

Sacramento holds benchrest practices on mondays if you can get away from work. They shoot either 600 or 1,000 yards depending on who shows up and what they want to do.
Sacramento is one of the premier facilities in the country and has very few shooters now so you can simply compare your groups to the guys next to you during practice.

Matt,

The X-ring is 0.5moa on the F-Class targets, so that's approx. 0.5" @ 100 yards. I like to have my loads in the low 0.2's. As hinted at earlier, a low ES is critical, especially for longer distances. I like to keep 10-shot group ES below 15 fps. I may start a flame war here, but I believe accuracy is far more important than speed. I usually like to run loads at the accuracy node one or even two nodes BELOW the max velocity accuracy node. Remember that in F-Class, you will be shooting several sighters followed by 15 or 20 shots in quick succession. Barrel heating "could" (and usually does) affect the latter rounds... Benchrest guys around here want their loads in the 0.1's and usually run them at the max velocity accuracy node, again with low ES numbers for long distance.
