There for awhile the 134 ELD-M's were out of stock pretty much everywhere but now I see most of the places have them back in stock again. What's the availability of the heavy .25 cal bullets like in the US? Lucky if you can find any over this side of the pond. Hornady are usually reliably available but I don't think the 134 gr ELDM has even reached us yet. Still no sign of Sierra making one. It's got me considering 6mm instead.
Still waiting for Sierra to come out with a 131 SMK. A TMK would even be better. There for awhile the 134 ELD-M's were out of stock pretty much everywhere but now I see most of the places have them back in stock again.
The 135 Berger's are a little harder to find still.
I'm not exactly sure what happened with those Blackjack 131gr bullets. I think they were some kind of a joint venture deal with Sierra because I recall hearing something about Sierra made the bullets or had something to do with the production of them but they were sold under a different name. I don't recall all the particulars or if any of what I just said was even factual but I believe those 131's were some kind of joint venture deal.
I really wasn't that interested in 25 cals back then because except for that brief run of those Blackjack 131's there really wasn't any heavy for caliber high BC 25 cal bullets out there but when Berger came out with their 133 and 135 then Hornady jumped in with their 134 ELD-M when guys started crunching the numbers those things really started getting peoples attention. A 25 cal 134 or 135 gr bullet with a .650 G1 BC that can be launched pretty easily in the 3000-3300+ fps range using less than 75gr of powder and without a great deal of recoil, I think it's gotten a lot of peoples attention.
