What do you want to get better at in 2017

My positional shooting needs help and is by far my limiting factor in competition. I plan to buy one of the Savage heavy barreled 22s, sling up, and practice, practice, practice.

Finally buy the .223 FV Savage and drop it into my MPA chassis for a trainer and get to it.

I want to get better about thinking what I want to get better about in 2018.

Increase my success % hunting ghogs. I've been averaging about 85% and would like to boost it to 90% next year. 2016 was a particularly frustrating year. I made spectacular shots (for me) but then missed shots I should never have missed. 2016 I saw my success % fall to 75%, lowest ever but this year I also took the highest % of shots over 200 yards.

I have the proper equipment, i..e accurate rifles, range finders, etc. and I practice a lot off shooting sticks but at 70 years of age by body isn't what it use to be. Shake, Rattle and Rock that's me - controlling heart beat a problem - trigger pull not up to speed - concentration lacking - but the one single thing I need to do better is be more patient and wait for a better profile shot. Also need to pass on those bobbing up and down in high hay. I almost always miss either jerking the trigger of miss timing the shot.

However, even with the misses its still fun and I will do it as long a God is willing.
