Some days they do.Politicians and corporate media but they make trimming cases less irritating.
Change the type of die you use and you may never need to trim again. Precision bump dies work great.I HATE trimming brass. Not sure why, but I just do. So glad that I have the PMA brass trimmer to make it easier.

If you get a Sinclair chamber length gauge you may be able to reduce your trimming by greater than 50%. At least that has been my experience for several rifles.I HATE trimming brass. Not sure why, but I just do. So glad that I have the PMA brass trimmer to make it easier.

Those big batches of.223 on my single stage presses wear me out. I’ve even went to the Lyman M dies and Lee factory crimp dies to avoid the chamfering and deburring.I hate loading in high quantity. Seems like what I do but man does it get old. Ive loaded so many rounds now that I actually do not like loading much at all anymore. I do like load development! Also hate the smell of pinesol... fun fact
I used to hate trimming brass because I did trim, chamfer and debur in 3 separate steps. Now I have a Forster 3-in-1 for every caliber I reload and in a weird way, I now find it enjoyable if not rewarding - the edges are all smooth and length is perfect every time.I HATE trimming brass.
Dang! Never heard of it. I've been using my old school Forster and chamfering the hard way. I will have to buy a few of these it seems . . . .I used to hate trimming brass because I did trim, chamfer and debur in 3 separate steps.
