I hate when the wife unit comes into the man cave and starts talking while I am throwing powder. I have had many double charges when she is waiting for an answer to a question I already forgot.....Now I just empty everything, turn and let her talk. When she leaves the room, I lock the door.

Thanks for the tip @64Rambler ! Forster has them on sale for $81 right now. I have a .22, 6mm and .308 on order. Trimming cases isn't fun, and chamfering is even less so. This should help!

It does indeed. I took a little extra time to adjust them to give me a little more flat on the trim length part but still deburr the outside. The way they come doesn't give a sharp edge, but less flat than I like - it's a personal preference.

Even cleaning primer pockets isn't so horrible if you have a radio going in the background. 280 cases in 13 minutes.

Definitely it's trimming. I've taken to measuring cases and only trim the ones that need it. My largest length difference is 005. I don't think that will hamper my accuracy at 600yds.

I'm stuck with an RCBS Trim pro and a DeWalt drill. I added a pilot the chambers, but it beburrs poorly.

Trying to decide if it's worth the $$$ to get a Henderson or the new Hornady.

For me it's throwing/trickling powder. No, am not going to spend a small fortune on auto powder systems.

With battery powered drills the case prep has become easy. I still remember sore arms/wrists from twisting or cranking manual case prep tools.

With an Amp annealer, Guirard trimmer and an auto trickler there really isn’t anything about reloading that I don’t enjoy.

Heck, with a 21st Century case lathe, I even enjoy neck turning!

Then yesterday looked at them on my bench with a lot of powder nearby, and all my guns, and the big LITHIUM sign on them made my insides suddenly churn. I removed them and will go get them when/if I need them. I am considering a prep system machine. Safer from fire.

So one day I was delivering a load of framing lumber for one of those outfits that rebuilds houses that have burned. I asked the guys "What happened to this one?"

Reloading in general. It used to be interesting and enjoyable. But now I load in quantity for matches, and it has grown old, really old. When loading over 150 at a time, I keep having to prevent myself from cutting corners.

I compete in IBS Score Competition with a 6 BR. As with any firearm competition there are a lot of steps involved in the loading and reloading process. I don't really "hate" any of them but, do dislike some more than others.

That said if I had to pick one that I dread the most (I guess), it is new brass prep. To preload for a 3 yardage Match, I have about195 cases. So starting with 200 new ones it takes F-O-R-E-V-E-R to get them neck turned, prepped, fire-formed, cleaned, resized, trimmed, etc., etc., and ready for Match usage.

The good news is that with minimum sizing along with annealing, a set will last a full season, sometimes two, so the whole new brass thing is infrequent. Yea!

You aren't doing much shooting in Jan and Feb where you live. That's for making brass and sorting bullets. Oh, weighing primers also.

I hate that my abilities aren't yet where I want them; I want every case bumped the exact same, trimmed identically, and every bullet seated exactly the same. But that damn digital caliper keeps telling me I'm not there.

I just don't like political correctness like the whole women on boards initiative. Competent men being replaced by incompetent and rude women just to fil in the quota.
I don't like people with tattoos and piercing working as baristas. It's just a put-off. there is scientifically proven correlation between tattoos and violence, so I am always asking myself if they spit in the coffee.
