What do you carry?

One of the Blessings of living in Arizona is our Constitutional Carry Laws . If you want to carry concealed , you may . And you may also acquire a CCW permit . But you MAY also carry OPEN .

My preference is a Glock 22 , .40cal , with 185gr XTP . Same round D.P.S. carries . My "other" is a P-64 Makarov with a 124gr. , +P JHP . Straight from Mother Russia .

Since I found out my Para Warthog wouldn't cycle a couple years ago I traded it out for a S&W PPKS. Now I know that my carry pistol will at least cycle and I get more than 1 shot if I need it! Lesson.......shoot the damn thing some before you carry it.

Ruger Stainless GP 100 3" 357 most of the time. On occasion, my 6" S&W 629 44 Magnum in a fast spring type Dirty Harry shoulder holster. Both will have an extra speed loader full of my handloads.

Recently started carrying my Walther PPQ M2 9MM with night sights. Mostly the Ruger though.

Really casual locations, stick a Ruger 380 LCP in my pocket. Most frequent carry, SW Shield 40SW. Sketchy areas, Rock Island Commander 10mm. Woods carry, the 10mm or a Glock 21.

SWBG .380 is in the pocket any time I leave my property. No one except the wife and son know it's there whether I'm wearing shorts, gym shorts, or my Sunday-go-to-church clothes. Speaking of church, I would feel sorry for an uninvited guest bearing a weapon in a threatening manner to cross the threshold at our church.
