what did you shoot today?

Jackie that should strike fear into the hearts of the bravest men. :)
Looks like you have your rifle fine tuned.
Good luck and keep us informed.

Well, I have a Benjamin Disco (custom) put together by a fellow AS member. It is a 22 cal and has multiple custom features. I put a steel T10 on it and it has been shooting fly targets (head only) at 33 feet all winter. I put a plate up at 52 yards, which is the edge of my garden from my bedroom window. Amazingly, with no sight adjustment, it was dead center at 52 yards as it was at 33 feet! I put three in a nickel at 52 yards.

Two days ago my dear wife yanked back the drapes (not seeing the airgun leaning there (in case of vermin attack) and dumped it on the hardwood floor. I thought for sure it was wanked. I noted the custom barrel stabalizer was loose, and it hit about two feet left at 30 yards. After a quick text to the builder for advice, I was able to re-tighten and center the stabalizer today. I sighted in at 33 feet, then shot it at 30 yards where it hit 1.5 inches high. It was dead on at 52 yards. Later in the eve I made a head shot on a garden raider at 63 yards, DRT. am very mpressed with this rifle. And that T10? I think you could run it over with a truck and it would still zero and track. Best $179 spent, ever. I have used it since 1979 and it is still holding zero on it's clicks. Sorry no photos...

I was not sure where to ask this. Today I got out and shot only powder and ball revolvers (percussion).
The Targets were:

Cardboard animals
Plastic pop bottles (two liters)
Aluminum soft-drink/beer cans (all empty from the recycling bin b.t.w.)
Dixie brand paper plates glued to two by four posts with bullseye rings drawn on with a sharpie

Target distances were 5, 10, 15 yards away so in my estimation safe given the materials
All firearms were reproductions only, no originals

Howdy !

Today, I shot groundhog !

I set my hog trap, in the hopes of catching one for the freezer, but I caught 6. That’s good and that’s bad, since I was not hoping for 6 of them. They were just the right size though, so I used my trusty old Winchester 9422 on them. It really shoots tight groups at 2 feet. :-)

2 chipmunks and multiple starlings off the bird feeders today. Diana 54 Springer air rifle in .22. 15.89 gr pellet at 760 fps. Energy at 21+ ft lbs. 13 to 21 yds. Requires no reloading or cleaning.20230416_093348.jpg I might add. 1/4 inch rifle at 50 yds. Yes it has a tuner.
