What Caliber ?

I have a Remington XR-100 action that is currently wearing a worn out 22-250 AI bbl. I am wanting to use it for a 6MM BUT I want it to feed from the Factory Magazine this will be a Carry Rifle with a # 4 contour @ 20-22".
I like my Dasher although I do not believe it will feed thinking along the lines of a 6 Lapua or ??

What would cause the issue of the Dasher not feeding? The C.O.A.L (without jamming bullets) on a 22-250 is 2.35". That would leave you .1" to play with with a Dasher. The BR would surely work though.
