What Bullet Pullers Work With Forster Co-Ax

I need a bullet puller, but understand some models will not work with the Forster Co-Ax. Forster makes two bullet pullers, of which one works with the press, and one does not. I am interested in the Hornandy Cam-Lock model, but do not know if the puller lever will clear the press arm when the press is operated...or maybe something else. ???

I use the Hornady but found it much easier to use by cutting 1" or so from the actuating lever with a cut off wheel in a dremel and deburring well. The rubber coating is sacrificed but no big deal.

go it midway.com and order a lee 'c frame' press -
Lee Reloader Single Stage Press Product #: 807734 Manufacturer #: 90045
$28 bucks - and a hornady bullet puller!

you have a quick and easy set up - use 4" c-clamp for quick mount on bench.

press also works great for bullet pointing!! where easy access is required.

The Forster universal bullet puller is the one you want. Works great.

It is a standard collet-type bullet puller. The difference between it and other collet bullet pullers is the method used to tighten or loosen the collet. Most collet-type bullet pullers have a long lever arm to do this. The Forster Universal puller has a hex nut, so you use a standard wrench (I forgot the size) to turn the hex nut that tightens or loosens the collet.

The unit is cleverly designed with a long screw that tightens the lock ring (included). This long screw is just the right size to fit perfectly into the slot in the Co-Ax press, thus holding the unit in place while you tighten or loosen the collet nut with one hand.

Yep, the Hornady works, and I like mine.

I have the RCBS model that is a pain to use with the Co-Ax press. The Hornady design is the best I have seen. I wish I had known about it before I purchased my RCBS. If I need to pull a bunch of bullets I will buy one.
