Forster Co-Ax Work w/Redding Instant Indicator?

I was thinking of getting the Redding Instant Indicator Headspace and Bullet Comparator (http://www.redding-reloading.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=37:instant-indicator-headspace-and-bullet-comparator)

I am not sure it will fit the Forster Co-Ax press with the dial indicator sitting on top of the indicator. The Forster press is here.

Anybody has experience using these two parts together?

As long as thereis no interference with the indicator , it would work.I will bet a call to forster and they would know if it would work ok.

There may be just enough height in the handle arms of the coax, but definitely not enough width. I just went out and checked clearance on my forster coax press with a forster micrometer seater in it, which is roughly the same height as the Redding micrometer seater. I'm 99.9% sure you won't get the clearance you need.

BUT! The beauty of the coax is that you can easily slip the die in and out before you run the handle all the way up. Your loaded case should be well clear of the die before then unless it is a very large magnum round. Probably wouldn't need to ever run the handle that far up so you wouldn't have to worry about clearance anyhow.

I think you are probably right. I did e-mail Redding and they sent me this.

"Thank you for your interest in Redding Reloading Equipment. I am sorry but the handle of the Forster Co-ax Press will not clear the dial indicator on top of the Instant Indicator".

I am now wondering about whether using the caliber specific Redding tool or the new Forster Datum Dial Ammunition Measurement System, which appears to manage multiple calibers.
