Can anybody identify these for me. Thanks

edit ---mabie i should put this in optics but ill try it here for now.

I'm thinking maybe for Ruger M77. Quick detachable to fit in place of the stock integral rings. jd
thanks jd- i was thinking that to at first. Ill see if they fit on my 77. i think the ruger rings for it are different heights though and these are both the same. will post here wat i find out.

They're Talley's and only fit their bases.
thats wat i thought dave but they dont look like they would fit on talley bases i have- mabie they are different than the fixed rings. Thanks much for the Info. ill check their webpage and call them if needed.

Hey JD-- I think you almost won the Prize :) . The rings do appear to be Talley rings for a Ruger however not for a 77. 1st pic is trying the rings on a 77 and you can see they dont line up like they need to as the 77s receiver rings are different diameters. pic 2 shows differance in 77 rings. But!! then I tried them on a 77/22 (pic 3). They appear to line up and it looks like they would work fine although the levers hit the wood in the front a little. they may actually may be for a differant ruger. ill keep checking.
Thanks and stay healthy

Edit-- yeah ive still got the Colts but sorry they arent the prize:eek:

Same ring. You just replace the screw with the lever to make them detachable.
Dave these rings dont fit on a standard talley base as they have the little recoil lug in them. They appear to be for a Ruger - which one not sure but i did try them on a couple. So im narrowing it down. Thanks

Interesting rings, I noticed they are not split down the middle at the base . I thought Talley but have only seen them with both sides the same.

To get a location for a solid lug it would have to be off center. Warne uses an insert for a lug so they are split down the middle.

I had a set just like those, they were made by Lenard Brownell, famous custom rifle maker from Sheridan, Wyoming. They are excellent.
