I tried One Shot on the recommendation of a good friend. In fact he gave me two cans. First time I tried it I stuck cases in the FL die like crazy. Never again I said. Well, that was until I found out I grabbed the wrong can and had sprayed them with the One Shot gun cleaner instead of the case lube. I'm a convert!Tooooooo much lube!
Clean your die to remove build up.
Sometimes less is more.
I'm gonna get beat up for this but I use
Hornady's 1 shot, never a stuck case nor dents.
Without service records do you still have a warranty?I use mobile 1. Synthetic
When I change oil I drain the cans
I change oil one time a year
And that gives me enough to load 5000 rounds
The best. Think I found .
My truck is asWithout service records do you still have a warranty?
Dont lube above the shoulder and cut your lube way back
That is kind of hard on the neck and bushing..... Jim
I wonder who could do the math for us. That would be interesting..Neck doesnt slide in the die and a bushing is a replaceable part (even though i figure i have 20k rounds on a bushing for my ppc with no wear). Wonder how many rounds of brass itll take to wear out hardened steel?
What case trimmer?Man there sure are alot of 1 shot users out there.
Also use it on case trimmer and press ram.
Sounds like a Hornday F/L dieI tried One Shot on the recommendation of a good friend. In fact he gave me two cans. First time I tried it I stuck cases in the FL die like crazy. Never again I said. If that is the case why use lube? You are all wet there, it will seize up..... Why use lube on turning necks? even on a carbide mandrel no lube you make junk. excess lube on a bushing die is forced out of the hole into the bushing area..... Wrong.Sounds like a Hornday F/L die

I started with Lee neck dies, they really do make good ammo.I found that Hornday sized the body waaaay to much for my personal taste. Almost stuck several cases' no joy in that..
Never tried a Lee
Why did you say your gonna get beat up for using 1 shot. In my opinion it's the best stuff that I have ever used in the 50 years that I have been in the reloading game.Tooooooo much lube!
