What annealing machines are you all using ?

Home made with one torch, 6" rotating drum and rotating brass feeder.
I am thrifty when it come to spending money. If I can not justify the cost and if it is something that I can make then I am all in. Personal preference is to spend the money on equipment and new rifle and gear.

Pretty, but the OP was asking about an annealeez, not a new mortgage payment. Anyone who has invested in an AMP, let alone an AMP mate is going to say it is the best and only, if for no other reason than to justify the money they have spent to heat a piece of brass.
Sorry, but we chase more people away from this sport with the idea that only the most expensive, most recent stuff can possibly be used if you want to win. Only the very best are ever going to see the difference on the target in the first place.
Even if you don't anneal at all, you can win if you can read the shot better than your competition.

Sorry to have offended you so much.

I am 100% sure the title of the thread is "What annealing Machines are you all using ?"

I was trying to tell the OP that I started off with the basics and have ended up here.

If I didnt like my AMP and didnt that that it was good, accurate, repeatable and easy to use I would have posted that. In fact, if I didnt like it it wouldnt even be on my bench anymore.

WOW.....Not much impresses me HOWEVER I am impressed with that set up.
WOW...Simply WOW

Thank you.

It's not difficult to build. Most will never need the auto feeder - I must confess I don't bother to use it much as I generally anneal max 100 cases at a time which can be fed by hand and done in a few minutes. And it doesn't have to look this fancy. In Gina's induction annealing thread there's a ton of people ready and willing to help a new builder. (itchyTF being one of them.) A basic version could likely be built for less than $200. Mine has a nice case, which adds cost but gets me cosmetics (I'm simply crap at machining wood, metal or anything really) and the auto feeder, which also requires some extra electronics - I monitor temperature in 4 places within the build and the two fans on the back of the enclosure have their duty cycle scaled to those temps. (I could just have the fans run 100% duty cycle all the time but I wanted to learn how to scale speed via PWM with reference to temp and I don't like unnecessary noise.) If temps exceed a defined threshold things stop until things cool below the threshold. This is necessary if you have an auto feeder that you want to leave running unattended. Others have deployed better work coils based on gapped ferrite cores (as does AMP).

The ONLY thing an AMP gets you is Aztec, cosmetics (looks nice) and convenience (it's already built). In return they demand a hefty price. Even Aztec is a nut we believe we know how to crack but it's likely not necessary for most.

I use a Phil Bower. It has two motors on it. One spins the case in a holder. The other one turns the motor, case and holder into the flame and back out. There are dip switches to control the time. These switches are 1/4 second, 1/2 second, 1 second, 2 seconds and 4 seconds. You add them up to get what you want. If you want 1 3/4 second, you flip the 1/4, 1/2 and 1 second on. Matt

AMP w/Aztec, but I kind of miss my Benchsource. It was more “fun”. I wasn’t comfortable with an open flame in the reloading room so I did my annealing in my workshop with no heat or A/C. The variability in the gas pressure was a bit of a challenge, but I think my repeatability with the Benchsource was good. With the AMP, I have more confidence that it is and I can anneal indoors.
