This ain't your other rifles, its an animal all its own. Personally I'd load 20 at a moderate charge +.020 in the lands and start with a seating test.Bc’z —no just began with that 322 load @.005. It shoots in my others very well. Hope to do more in day or two. What the bore scope reveals just looks weird to me, like the bullets are only touching grooves in the middle 1/3 of each groove
Gotcha, will doThis ain't your other rifles, its an animal all its own. Personally I'd load 20 at a moderate charge +.020 in the lands and start with a seating test.
Let us know how it works out.Gotcha, will do
Let us know how it works out.A great bullet-maker suggested I try 12 twist
I was getting ready to say the same thing. Looks like a notch in it“If” the picture on the left is the “crown”, it looks awfully poor to Me ?
Nicely bedded, thanksBedding?
Al- Loaded a few last night with N130, some just at touch and few .010” in. Rain then HEAT the next several days so they may not get unleashed immediately! I have done 8208 in .223 but not tried it yet in .222. Hit a very good load immediately with it in .a 223 Wylde. Thanks-WendelI sure wouldn't make any judgements based on just one powder. N130, LT30 <32, Benchmark, the various 8208's...and more... are all players in the 222's. Your choice of a 12 twist is a good one. -Al
