Wet Tumbling What went Wrong?

I gave up on dry tumbling due to concerns about lead dust. Never had a problem with wet tumbling. I don't use pins just a the brass cleaner solution that Frankford Arsonal sells

I've been using a SS pin tumbler for years without a single issue. Like most guys who tumble brass, I use Dawn and LemShine. When using the pin tumbler, less is more. Tumble for 20-30 minutes and out they come.
I use warm water for the wash but use very hot water for 3-4 rinses. Hot brass dries faster.

I have never found a need to wash my pins independently. Use enough Dawn to still have suds when you open the tumbler and rinse immediately in hot water.

The whole process is rather easy and works great.
