Were you a Natural at shooting?

I myself was a lot like the muleman growing up,a BB gun and an old Polk stalk of my grand pa, went in the marine Corp an I was hooked wanted to be a world class shooter after service, developed a handicap started shooting long range benchrest, IMG_0026.jpg an a former shooter I shot with give me a nickname Bobble head but he always applauded me when I shot well, I used my military training as a tool improvise, overcome, an adapt,so I'm definitely not a natural but I faired pretty well.

Started young shooting the big grasshoppers with a BB gun. Then birds and chipmunks.
I'm surprised there is any left in the state of Michigan.
Then was runner up for my area shooting those horrible fancy adjustable sighted Daisy
Red Rider looking target BB gun. The rich kids had theirs tuned up, I had to use the ones
laying around. Couldn't afford a new one.
Then bought a 10/22 and started to split playing cards with it and the Rem. T22lr ammo
Had to put the shooting aside ( partly )to make a life and money.
Got back into shooting heavy the last 6 yrs, and have learned a lot.
The equipment has advance greatly also.
It's always been fun.

My identical twin brother was a real natural , from the time he touched a rifle at age seven . I was a "natural" with a handgun , and he was average with a handgun . So I worked at becoming a good rifle shot to compete with him , and get on the local Jr. Club team . Still working at getting good .
