Hey, I own 4 300 Blks, 1 AR, 1 SBR, one Handi and one CZ bolt. Love them, and I'm not butthurt from any of the comments here. I didn't get into the round because I read Soldier of Fortune but because I found it interesting. Creedmoor stuff is because it's the latest fad among the next generation - thank God it's brought interest to shooting - and I won't own one:D
To old, to ornery, not in great shape and no tattoos.

Hold on there popcorn!!
I ain't the next generation I'm the middle 1.
An I got enough ink for both of us.
So if ya dont want a rifle that's easy to load for, and will eat just about what ever you feed it. Then yeah you might not want the mighty,
low recoiling 6five creed a ma ho.

Many years ago I called Dave Manson to cut me a 264 WinMag reamer and after about 30 minutes on the phone about the barrel burner reamer I had an unheard of 6.5 Creedmoor reamer coming. I chambered up a Krieger on a bone stock 700 with a BR stock and after working up a nice load it was hammering at 600 yds, winning club matches. I liked it so much I put another 6.5 Creedmoor together on a Borden BRMXD, Krieger barrel and a Kestros McMillan stock.... WOW! Ya'll can say all the negative things you'd like, this rig is a hammer. And I have no tats, cargo pants, beard nor do I shoot PRS. OK I'm done and we're back to our normal scheduled program.

I think its time to poke some fun at the bench rest crowd and their assault spoons.
The creedmore may be able to take a T-rex at a mile, but the the bench rest group strikes
fear into the hearts of all buffet owners word wide! Its F class of F off!
If you are not a member of the shoot me in the eye with a red rider club
you are a total looser and dont belong here

how about the hunting guys with rifles and a 3-9x cabelas scope (not that there is anything wrong with the scope) but guys think that they are sighted in at 100 and with some Kentucky wind age they are good till at least 400....like a guy that shot at a deer last night while i was running corn... shot.. miss.. shot.. miss..shot...miss... i got out at the end of the field.. asked.. did you get him... " he sure jumped... " i asked .. where were you holding... well dead on it was only like 125... i laughed and laughed... said you dont own a range finder do you... "no"... i think you better walk on down to where it was and count your steps.....

325yds!!!!!!!!!!!! wtf... i told him either buy a range finder or quit hunting on the property...

i mean its not rocket science here is it fellas?...

This one makes me laugh. Every year I go to deer camp in IL. Group of 10-12 of us. No competitive shooters in the group but some are pretty damn good shots and lots of dead deer. When we get out of stands in the morning we drive and find big bucks locked down with does in the middle of an open section(we know lots of farmers). We set up our plan to post some and walk some in. That's when the &$(% show always begins. It's a shotgun state so big slugs being slung from 200-400 yards at running deer(don't slam the ethics....it's legal but not everyone cup of tea).

So one day I set up a challenge. We hung a 4x8 sheet of plywood at 225yards with a 12x12 shoot n see target in the middle. You were given one shot from any position and the only rest you could use was a fence post. I think 8-10 of us shot. Only my cousin and I even hit the sheet of plywood that was standing still. 1 was 10" from center of target and he was 11" with our slug guns(I use muzzle loader). It really opened up some eyes to the fact you cannot and will not hit a running deer at that range much less a vital shot.

I don't care how well you shoot off a rest sighting in. Field conditions throw that out the window 90% of the time.

I think you're supposed to shoot it, not use it to hammer with. Might be part of your problem... :p

No! Because bros Like me who were into it when it was the 300whisper are going to get lumped into the “tacticool crowd”!

Don’t you put that evil on me Ricky Bobby! Don’t you put that evil on us!
No offense mister. At least none meant. Just throwing it out there as it has a catchy name, Blackout.
As was said, if it gets more people on the range its all alright by me. To each their own!
Wanna pick on fingerless gloves?? :)

Ok, don’t pick on fingerless gloves either! I had to use them to type on my blue force tracker on patrols in AFG. Full fingered gloves made it impossible! Stop singling me out! ;):D
