My vote is the 300 Black Out. Its 15 seconds of notoriety has passed already, but it was hyped to be just about the best for many things. Some say its a great deer round, some say big enough for elk, some say its awesome for coyotes. It has been said to be the best close in anti-person round.
I sipped that kool-aid, and but that upper hasn't had a scope on it or been mounted to a lower in 3 or 4 years.
