Been trying for the longest time to decide what kind of barrel I wanted to put on a Remington 700 action I had so, I finally decided on the 6BR. Already have a .22, 22-250,.308, 6.5CM so it should fit into that group nicely and fill a gap.
My reasons for 6BR seemed to be swayed by cost of reload per charge of powder, inherent accuracy, access to Lapua brass, and many great 6mm bullet choices.
This will be my first Criterion barrel (I went remage) so, I hope its as dead accurate as my .308s Shilen.
I liked my Shilen bull so much I went with the same 28" bull but, 8 twist with a .092 FB
Now just need to order a follower to turn the blind mag into single shot. Thinking the ones EABCO sells.
