Welcome to the Reloading Forum -- Introduce Yourself

Bob from Southwestern Ohio here. I'm am old guy, but new to hi-power rifle, having shot my first one yesterday. I just finished building my AR-15 and am looking forward to many years of enjoyment shooting it.

Hello everyone, John from Kentucky here. Glad to finally be a member on here. I started reloading when I was 12 with my older brother's 45acp. I"ve always loaded for money saving rather than pure accuracy, so now I ccan use all of your collective knowledge. You'll be hearing from me.

Good morning all, I'm Richard O'Shields from Tennessee. I've been shooting a 6mm rat with a 28" Krieger barrelfor about 3 months now and am loving it. II'm looking for reloading info from the more seasoned rat shooters. I've been shooting 105 Berger and MK with 25g behind it. I have been able to get some good groupings at 200. Looking to stretch out to 5 and 900. Any info on what loads have worked well for you would be much appreciated in this process. Also if you want to talk about how far you have been able to go out with the rat and be accurate would be helpful also. I'm running a single stage Geissele trigger with a PRS stock and kickstand with a Harris bipod and a Nightforce 5x25. Thanks glad to be here.

Well it's about dad-gum time you joined! With that much experience your contributions should be substantial! Welcome to you my friend!!! Make yourself at home..

Hello from pa, I'm back into reloading after 10 years of other projects. Man, have the prices changed. I reload mostly military cal. 7.62x 51, 5.56x45 etc.

Greetings from Atlanta, GA. Will retire soon and looking to spend considerably more time indulging my favorite hobbies - shooting and reloading. Here to learn and hopefully make a small contribution to the knowledge base from time to time.

Hello from Virginia. I'm new to reloading, been shooting for many years and decided to take the next step. I bought a used Dillon RL550b and started reloading .40 S&W's tonight. Tomorrow I'll test them out at a range.

Not so young and not so wise anymore, I try to update and refine my 'knowledge'. Shooting these days is just for fun, now; high level competition demands rigors that I'd just a well forego. Simplifying my life, and trying to separate the nice from the necessary in my handloading process. Accuracy sacrifices, yes, but less than I had expected; probably since my chambers nowadays are all SAAMI spec, and all but one are straight plain factory rifles, always been that way.

I am Greg Langelius and live in Western NY, but am looking into moving to the Southwest. I can see what's in the legislative queue for NY shooters, and I'd rather live where I'm not so much of an endangered species. If I need to choose between living in NY and shooting, NY loses the draw. No matter who wins elections, it's the people who elect them who are the problem. New Yorkers will always have issues with guns, because the people here don't even appreciate their own civil rights enough to stand up for them. Whatever resistance there may be, it's always been, and always will be, in the minority.

Hello everyone, I have been registered for long time but lurked mostly. Much info posted and great discussions. I shoot LR, HiPower, rimfire silhouette, trying 3gun. I reload for all.

Hi guys,
My name is Jose Luis, and I'm sitting in Madrid, Spain.
I've found this place by chance, but I remain here because it is one of the very few places where you can find clever answers to problems, nice comments and learn a little more about this great hobby.
I'm a 300 meter prone shooter, and despite my age I own now up to 15 gold medals in National Championships (last gold in 2014).
My two jewels are one 1916 Carl Gustaf Brand new from arsenal, and my Unique T3000 in 6,5x55 with two Pac-Nor Barrels, one for training and the other for serious competition.
If anyone thinks that I can be of any help, please feel free to come with your request.

Hello, I've been reading this forum for quite some time. I recently got a Savage 12 6.5CM. I have only reloaded for pistols in the past and am interested in reloading for precision shooting.

Many thanks.

Hello all! I'm new to accurateshooter.com but have been reloading and shooting for 25 years or so.

Currently reloading .45 Long Colt for plinking, and .308 for long range accuracy.

I live in southwest Iowa and shoot at the High Lakes Rifle range north of Afton Iowa nearly every weekend. They have a pistol pit and berms at 100, 200, 300, 400 yards, and a berm at 500 meters, too.
