weaver xr 46 scope

Hi folks . I have a new weaver 46 xr scope the cross hairs are too fine for these tired old eyes/
Does anyone do a reticle change on these?
I tried Ackernan

Ditto on the 46X. I like mine but cross hairs are FINE! Have you contacted Weaver about changing to a dot? Weaver has changed tech support, but were supposed to offer that service again.

When my eyes were sharp the Weaver fine crosshairs were my #1 choice for precision. Nowadays, well you know how it goes.

Yes i did try weaver , Weaver optics said it has an etched retical and they can't change it.
