new weaver scope

Hi folks I bought a new weaver 46x scope. it5,s beautiful , n ice and clear etc
But the cross hairs are way to fine for me.
It there a place were i can get new cross hairs put in???

Go to targetshooteroptics.com. They do reticle conversions.

See if you can return it. Doubt the cost will justify the upgrade. If you can’t, sell it and go to a good gun store when they reopen and look through different scopes to see what your eyes like.

I was told by Sharon at Ackermans that it is an etched retical
Ill try again and see whats up. or i could sell it and get a leupold 45 with dot

Optical Services Co. won’t touch the Weaver XR-46. Talked to cheryl a few months back because I have one that has moisture in the reticle. Weaver service is permanently closed down. Any way it’s an etched reticle and no one wants to fix them.
To the OP if you find someone that’s willing to work on it let me know.
