To keep the honest rank and file members from throwing him out he had to have many, many other corrupt employees and board members in on the cash to keep him in power. How would they be weeded out? And who would know who they are? I would guess he is keeping all this secret so that the retirement and golden parachute are not taken away when these secret allies are replaced.

So many people,politicians,union leaders and charitable organizations are all effected by money and power. I think the CDC should study it. I am and will be an NRA life member until they close their doors. But I have taken the time to write board members about this BS. Years ago when Wounded Warrior Project was rolling out they had a group there that acted like Wayne. The Vet groups that supported them bombarded the Org. with letters and they resolved the issue. That may help here. We can`t give up. The pols and unions are a different beast, one can sick the IRS or ? on you and the other will have you beat up or worse. Let`s deal with the NRA and get them back on track. FAST.

Read the article in the Washington Post today (2/4/24) about the NRA and WLP. WLP said in his resignation letter he was ill and had diminished mental capacity. Will say anything to stay out of jail. It does not say if the NRA is paying his legal bills. It does say he has returned $990,000 to the NRA. How did he accumulate that much? It does say Larry Craig is still on the board, former Idaho senator, convicted of trying to make contacts for sex in a airport men's room.

Martha was taxes, I agree very little. The NRA board allowed Wayne to spend the $, they knew what was going on.

Actually it was insider trading.
She was found guilty of one count of conspiracy, two counts of making false statements, and one count of obstruction of agency proceedings.
