WAY off topic… Sleep Number bed?

Wife and I bought an i8 last spring because our old mattress was murder in our middle aged bodies. I am not unhappy about the purchase. It took some time but I have my side dialed in and I sleep 10x better than I used to. I will say that the adjustable base to elevate head and legs is a waste. She wanted it so we added it and we never use it because I can’t stand to sleep any way but flat.

Took a while to receive and they have to set it up for you and that was a bit of a debacle.

We've had ours over twenty years, and with a memory foam topper will never have anything different if this one ever fails. I've slept on everything else available during this time!

Google chilipad , kept my comfortable mattress, goes on her side, she was cool during that time…. And no more bad temper from not sleeping, life saver !

And here I was, awaiting someone's response to say my sleep number is 45, or 357...

I typically sleep on firm; and in reviewing the sleep number, I instead went with purple. Pricey as well; but I love mine, so much so that on all my work travels, I know it's time to come home when I have dreams about sleeping in my bed. I've had mine about a year now, and consider it a nice upgrade from my old early design memory foam.

Mine varies based on how long it has been since I have seen my chiropractor or how badly i have abused my neck, back and hips….

We just went through the whole mattress thing a couple weeks ago.....holeee sheet be prepared for sticker shock if you haven't purchased one in 10-15 years. Went with a Tempur Pedic...so far so good.

We've been sleeping on a Sleep Number bed for 12 years. I just ask the little wife her opinion, she says she loves it. So do I. Probably the biggest reason I've cut back on travel to matches is I don't sleep well or at all some nights in motels. Weeklong matches aren't on the radar anymore, after 2 or 3 restless nights I'm ready to go home and sleep in my own bed. If and when this one wears out, we'll be in the market for another.

I normally strongly dislike attempts to take this forum into non-firearm topics, but
sleeping well is such a universal issue. Thanks to everyone for their comments.

The Consumers Reports article lists the Avocado Green as the best innerspring mattress.
Does anyone have experience with this model?

Wife and I have had a Sleep Number bed for years and love it. We also use an Ooler mattress cooler. The Ooler is the best way I know of to keep cool at night

Thanks for all the replies. WAY better then "reviews" you don't know who has a vested interest in.

She's going to do some more "investigating".

:)
She can look into these.

I don't know for sure if it's what she's looking for, but it's another option.
And in the interest of full disclosure, this is where I'm employed.

I hope Dak gets his dialed to the right number before Monday Night.
Jerry's kids are going to need more than Dak getting a good night's sleep the way they are playing. If they'd start Cooper Rush and leave 21 on the bench with that stupid lookin ring in his nose, they'd stand a better chance to win.

SN for 15+ years, upgraded once to adjustable, heat/cool on the wife's side(hot flashes for a year or so). Problem hard to sleep in ANY other bed. I use a memory foam pad or air mattress, depending on where I'm camping.

After reading all of these comments I went out yesterday and bought one, not cheap but then the Temperpedic was not cheap either.

I enjoyed a cup of Tom Brady’s tears with my breakfast this morning.:)
