Warranty question on a scope

I have a Leupold VX-111 6.5-20x50mm boosted to 18-40x by Premier Reticles.I purchased the scope somewhat recently from a friend. It is in perfect condition that performs flawlessly. My question is: since Premier Reticles are no longer doing boost jobs or anything else with Leupold,I've heard the story why)and my scope was boosted before 2006,made and boosted in 2004)who do I turn to if I ever have a problem with it?I heard guys say Premier Reticles would not touch it and the same with Leupold.Anyone with a boosted Leupold have this same problem? Like I said, the scope is perfect. I could not be happier.The most crisp optics I've looked through as well as flawless tracking. Just in case something does happen. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

The guys at Premier Reticles have changed their position on waranting the modified Leupold scopes, the following is taken directly from their website...

"Premier-modified Leupold Warranties:
Premier Reticles will also continue to honor the warranty, at no cost to the customer, on Premier modified Leupolds for parts and craftsmanship that are deemed defective . If the scope cannot be repaired to the satisfaction of the customer then Premier Reticles will seek an adequate remedy which could include, but is not limited to:
1. Reimbursement of repairs costs charged by the OE company
2. Applying the used market value of such against the purchase of a new Premier product."

These guys are outstanding when it comes to customer service!
