Warped sense of humor

In the 65-66 time frame, I worked at a Cadillac dealership. From time to time, I would have to drive a customer's new car to the body shop for for paint work. Those cars had ash trays that closed up into the dash board and pulled out about 8 inches. It seemed to never fail that ash tray was overflowing and had butts in the floor board. When you cranked the car up and the A/C or heater came on, it would almost gag you.

A duce and a half with a Ford body on it. Only thing missing is the Quad 50's in the bed.

Rode in my fair share of them back in the day. My first Patrol Jeep was a 1945 Ford that had been on the Base for eons. Still remember warming up my C-rat cans on the radiator for a warm lunch. Got a call once but did not take the time to remove the can of beans before heading out.
Big 'pop' under the hood at 45 mph and smoke forced us to stop and investigate. What a mess.
Still laugh when I recall that shift.
