Humor in Combat
My uncle who was a Marine told this story about a firefight in Korea. My uncle and his unit were fighting in the mountains. They come to cave. My uncle throws a grenade into the cave. Ka-boom! that puppy goes off. He says "I figured WTF" and tossed in a second one, Ka-boom! that puppy goes off. He hears "Don't shoot, don't shoot." Out comes this Chinese guy all of 6' 6", hands up, waving a small white rag. My uncle says "Where TF did you learn to speak English?" Chinese guy in fluent English says "I have a degree in Engineering from UCLA". My uncle says "WTF are you doing here?" Chinese guy says "I was drafted"
