Vv N555 - which cartridges have you liked it in?

What’s your load/speeds with that combo?

I have been shooting n150 in my 6.5x47 with 139’s
2734 fps using 40.1 grains. Avg 2730 in the summer and 2737 in the winter. 26 inch barrel.

I found another Node at 41.0 grains, but it was close to max and I decided to go with the slower load. I was getting around 2830 fps ar 41.0 grains.

I load my cases with a drop tube.

I've used N150 in the past, but I wouldn't go back to it after using N555.

I will have to give it a try, thank you!

I'm the one who bought @Fuj jug of N555.

So far I've tried it in several 25 caliber cartridges.
Does well in 257 Roberts AI with 115gr & 120gr bullets.

It does great in 6.5x47 Lapua with 139 scenars. I haven't tried it with lighter bullets. Very temp stable.

What have you all used it in?
7-6.5PRCW at 55.9gr N555 with Berger 180 hybrids running at 2869fps with a 12 shot ES of 9fps with unsorted primers and while FIREFORMING new brass. Amazingly accurate from 55.3-56.2gr at both 100 and 200 yards thus far, this weekend is seating depth and tuner setting testing.

Dave

25 Creedmoor under Berger 133 and 135, good velocity and very consistent.
243 under 107 SMK
6.5 Creedmoor under 130VLD.
284w under 184 LRHT.

I'm currently using 41.5grs of RS62 and its really compressed behind 140gr hybrid..
The comparator measurement is around 30 thousandths shorter than my last barrel..
Current barrel was second hand that had done 130 shots which must have been throated for about 130gr bullet..
The hybrids shoot superbly all the same..
When the RS62 is used up I will try some N555..!!
