Vortex viper hd

Anyone on here got a vortex viper hd in 3x15? I looked through one today but want to take it and look through it outside. Might go back to the store and ask to look outside. It was real clear inside the store.

I have the 5-25 FFP and it has better glass then the Viper PST II 5-25. Shot it a bit and am very happy with it.

I went back to the store this afternoon and looked through it outside. Looked pretty clear. I always have a hard time looking through one not mounted to a rifle, but it did seem good and clear.

Well i guess no one has tried it out. I bought one today. Will get the rings next and mount it up.

Well got it mounted up tonight. Not a great picture, was late when i did it. Time to take it out and sight it in. Has a very forgiving eye relief. It has always been hard picking out something in the store with out real hands on trying it out in the field or range.

Well i took it out this morning. I only shot 5 rounds just to get on paper before i start my load work up on this rifle. The scope was clear. So far so good. I need more time behind it, but i do not like the locking elevation. I feel they should have made it to where you need to pull up a little more to adjust. It was okay but was just a little hard to tell if i had it lifter up enough to adjust. Im going back out next weekend and ill spend more time behind it.
