Vortex scopes Eval?

How good are the strike force and diamond back models?

I have both. OK scopes for the price point. Depending on application I like the HS and HST better. Excellent warranty from Vortex that is seldom used.

It's like asking if Chevrolet is a good car. Good ones and not so good ones. I can't speak to the ones you have but my Gen 3 Razors are awesome! Great glass, tracks like a train.

To me, you have to get north of $1k to get a nice scope from Vortex. Sub $1k, I would look at Athlon. Especially the Midas Tac lineup. They are much better than the comparable Vortex offerings. Just my eyes and opinion.

Interesting. For Vortex scopes I have one Strikeforce, 3 Dimond Backs and 3 Vipers. Maybe I've just had a string of luck but none have been back to the factory. These are not high end scopes and I don't expect them to be. I have sent back entry level Leupold's. VXIII and Mark 4's have been good. I prefer my Night force scopes but as for me, I can't afford to have them on a couple dozen rifles I want scoped.
