Can anyone recommend a gunsmith in Virginia, looking to get a couple barrels chambered and a 700 or 2 trued. Used to go to Clay Spencer but I know he's getting or as gotten out of the business.

Is Clay out of business for good now?

Not completely but he doesn't do much anymore, kinda looking to the future too, need to start a relationship with a smith that's doing it fulltime.

UPS runs almost every day. But like james said its gonna be hard to beat somebody like wayne campbell. He actually does winning rifles.

Thanks, I'll check out Campbell and a couple others I got PM'd on.

I know I can ship rifles to any smith to have chambers done and whatnot but I like dropping it off in person and talking to them, not that I'm leery of smiths, quite the opposite, there's a lot one can learn and pick up from conversations about projects with them. They've seen most every mistake in the book and more times than not can give you some extra guidance.
