Joe, just out of curiosity and sharing notes… what year is the head stamp and where did you find them? Was it a private party who broke out some they had stashed, or was the 500 pieces packaged by Lake City (Ferderal)?
I’m mostly wondering out loud if the new contract operator will get around to selling fresh virgin brass to the public before I run out…

Yup. That was about the last of it. I have not seen it since Graf‘s and Midway were selling it bulk. Glad I grabbed some, but now wish it was more. Service Rifle burns the brass up.

Now that the plant operations contract has changed hands, we will wait and see if any of that stuff comes our way.

I forget the year when it was sold, but there was some LC 09 and 10 that was sold pretty cheap [around $150/K] that was famous for cases separations in the first firing.

I think it may have been 2012.

I'm using '11 and '13 and having no issues.

I bought 12k pieces of the LC09 cheap back in the day. No separations or issue. Supposedly we’re blems due to water spots.
