I think Larry may just be alright, he has contributed a lot of money to the NRA over the years. There are many people and companies that claim to be pro NRA and have given nothing. ymmv

Not knocking Larry. I don't have any idea what he contributes, but he indeed does collect and forward to the NRA a lot of other people's money through the " Roundup" program when you make a purchase.

That’s very true. The customer gets the option to “round up” and then it goes to the NRA. He could choose to do nothing and just keep getting richer.

I admit to doing a poor job of making my point, especially in light of the many threads where Larry gets bashed. I buy from Midway on occasion and have always been well satisfied. Never meant to disrespect Mr. Potterfield. The optional Roundup program is a great program.

There was a time when I despised Midway. Those "Grinnin' Larry" ads on TV turned my stomach.
Prices were too high and service was too low. I was buying everything I needed from Midsouth, Brownell's and Sinclair.

These days Brownell's has gone down the crapper and taken Sinclair with it. Sloooooow shipping; they boast two day but that ain't to your door, it's just getting it packed and out their door!
Midsouth has always been easy to work with and even more so now than then. Only thing is they just don't have as much selection and product line as Midway. I gave Midway another try about a year ago and have to say they have become much more "user friendly". Just hope they can stay that way. And, as far as Larry Potterfield goes, I've seen how hard he works for the 2A crowd and the NRA.

I've said it before but I'm a big fan of Midway for all the reasons above.
I think I read the other day he's sent over $15m dollars to the NRA since he started the round up program. Good easy to navigate website, easy checkout and fast shipping. I'll keep shopping there until something changes.

I'm not aware of any other suppliers supporting the NRA & our 2A rights to this extent. I'm sure there are and I would support them as well If I were aware of them. In a time where a lot of companies are jumping ship to cultivate favor with the PC folks I'll spend my $ with a company that proudly supports our rights and beliefs!
I order from Midway , and I say Merry Christmas and don't care who it offends... I am the most offensive person in America anymore.... A white , Christian , Straight , Gun owning and carrying , NRA card holding , Republican , 50 year old Texas born and raised man.... Who doesn't give a crap if I offend you living the way I was raised to live as an American... Being PC is an excuse to not being true to yourself or your values....
