There are a few factors that affect vertical or horizontal spread.
When things are "perfect", seating depth testing will show groups varying from vertical to horizontal spread.
Stringing aka vertical spread can be caused (or mitigated) by changing neck tension.
Bags filled too much can cause bounce especially if both front and rear bag are hard.
Finally, a worn firing pin spring or obstruction in the bolt can cause stringing.
Many F-class shooters change firing pin springs regularly.
