velocity differences between twists

What kind of velocity difference can one expect between a 24" 13.5tw and a 24" 12tw and 24" 10tw shooting 68gr.FB and the 80-90gr bullets. Is the velocity a deciding factor ? I am aware of the 13.5 not stabilizing above 75gr,or am I wrong). I hear alot about the different twists and optimum bullet weight versus accuracy per the different twists.
I purchased a 13.5tw Kreiger for my 6br that is being built by Mike Bryant and was just wondering what other twist should I purchase if I want to shoot the 80gr fowlers and 90 - 95gr
I read alot of different opinions and just wondering if I could get some more. Thanks !!:):)

ten twist will definately stabalize up to 90 grain and some 95's,some barrels won't)

nine twist will stabalize bullets to 100 grains.

eight twist is needed for the 105-107 grain family.

seven twist is needed for the 115 grain family, not really a good choice for the standard 6BR).

In my limited testing of different twists the faster twist will need more powder to equal the velocity achieved with a particular bullet in a slower twist. I have a ten twist which gets 2981fps with the 95 VLD with 30.2 grains of Varget. I also have an eight twist same barrel mfg/length/chamber/ etc. that needs 31.1 grains of Varget,2994fps) to do the same thing with the 95 VLD.

Decide what's the heaviest bullet you want to use, and pick your twist accordingly. Just remember, more twist=more torque. Not a bad thing but one more factor to manage when shooting small groups.

Hope this helps.
