Vectan BA9 data for 9mm Luger

I just picked up some Vectan BA9 powder at cost for loading up 9mm Luger and although the min/max sounds right, the OAL of 0.75393701" for a 115gr RN seems really short. Anyone here try this load out using that OAL with the Vectan powder?

NO I HAVE NOT... That being said that seems way short.. Be careful the deeper you seat the bullet the more pressure you have.. As a matter of fact most of the time its bullet setback that causes most problems.. (kabooms)...Most 9mm loads have a COAL of at least 1 inch... Especially with FMJ bullets... Just throwing this out there for safety..

Several loading manuals I looked at show the case length as .754". You may want to look at several manuals to get an idea as to what the overall cartridge lengths are.

I've got several books, guess I'll have to take a look, just never had to load that short with all the powders I have which threw me off.

OK, I guess the length they are talking about is the case length which has really nothing to do with load data that much, I was thinking it was the COAL. I guess they(Vectan) are leaving the COAL up to the person which to me does not make sense.
