varmit light REDor GREEN?

I have a predator control permit, which color should I go with? it is so bad a buddy showed me his trail came pics from a few nights ago at his deer stand (5 raccoons, 2 opossum, 1 coyote) and of course no deer, this is all in one night, so that is what I am dealing with.
which color?
motion activated light?
constant on light?
scope mounted light?

ANY help or opinions would be appreciated

I have and use both red and green. If you are going to get 1 light go with red.

Night vision is your best option.
We hunt pigs and they scatter, with any color light.

Forget the light and string some steel. You can get a good night's sleep and empty the traps come morning. Problem solved.

I really considered that

That depends on a lot of things including the regulations in your state. Coon and possums easy peasy using footholds, body grippers and dog proof. Coyotes a little tougher but can be caught in numbers with some experience. Footholds and snares if they are legal. You won't learn all the tricks to the trade overnight. A good trapper will make a guy with a red light on a gun look foolish for several reasons.
