valentine's day

"mine put up with me for 41 years ,she deserves something nice "

We have 54 years coming up in June. Gave her a dozen roses this AM, good dinner is scheduled for this evening, have $300 in M1 carbine parts on order for one of her projects, she has a Micro-tech knife on order and a week ago she told me that I should gift myself a new chain saw as a back up for our 028AV Farm Boss.

Life is good!

PS: She did say if I really wanted to give her a great gift I should get my A-- in gear and put the fresh engine that is on the engine stand in her 87 Dodge 4X4.
 
Ok I'am stressing out ,NEED HELP!!! Called for dinner reservations no good , can you believe burger king won't hold a table . movie maybe , Nope ,darn drive in theater closed for winter . Ah flowers yes , I checked the back forty , Nada the dandelions aren't up yet . this isn't looking good .

Walmart's has flower bouquets for $4.97. I splurged and bought two of them. Hey, the 28 Nosler ain't cheap to feed.:p
 
LOL...our first I took off with her dad.
He drove truck and was running his butt off.
He stopped at the house and asked if I could help him out.
Said he had to get some sleep and wanted me to drive to
North Carolina to take a load of pallets. Told him I hadn't been
in a.truck in years he said it's like riding a bicycle...so I jumped in
and we headed to NC. 53 foot trailer of pallets.
She ain't never let me forget that...LOL

PS...that was 28 years ago...lol

40 years, She is spending the day snearing at all the VD commercials and the Rom-Coms flooding the screen.
Hates VD.
Took me a decade or so to understand that.
 
Today is our 34th anniversary. After living together for 5 years before getting married we thought we would be smart and get marred on a day we both could remember. We usually remember a couple days before our aniversery and by then all the good restaurants are booked. The running joke is that we usually celebrate with takeout from a fast food joint. Last night we stepped up scale and got Italian takeout for us and our neighbors. Today we'll celebrate by working on the second level were putting in the shop. We're both true romantics.
