Vais or Holland Muzzle Break 300 Ultra PSS

I am building a 300 Ultra PSS and need some help in a muzzle break Vias or Holland? Any recommendations?

I have installed both on my own and dozens of customers barrels..

Both work well, the Vias certainly is more attractive to my eyes, the Holland has to be "indexed" as it has a slick,no holes)bottom and it must be bored to the correct caliber, so it's more difficult to install

The Vias comes with a nice 320 or so grit finish and no further finishing is required,stainless)

The Holland comes bead blasted... so unless you have that finish on your barrel, the break needs a good bit of finish work.

For large diameter barrels, the holland offers a break with 3/4" threads... The Vias only offers 11/16" threads for "varmint" size barrels.

I put Hollands on "fat" barrels and Vias on sporter weight or light varmint barrels.

I charge double to fit a Hollands over the Vias.... twice the work at least.

I dont have any experience with either. I use the Harrells brake mainly because its so inexpensive and it works great for me. If it was for a prone rifle, it might not be the best choice, but for shooting off the bench I like it.

I've used them also. They cause the rifle to "twist" in the bags which upsets your alignment... no big deal unless you've found a "condition" and you're trying to get your string down range as fast as possible.
