V4 Software Update

Yes, haven't used it to actually load yet but ran through it checking it out. Should be improved with the added tuning and best of all the option to save profiles.
 
I like it better. I had trouble with my Ingenuity Precision Powder Meter at first but Adam guided me through it .
 
Definitely better, loaded 60 rounds this evening throwing 50.7 gr H4350.
The help function is great and explains what the changes do more clearly…
 
Got it yesterday and was playing with the settings but haven't loaded anything yet. Had an issue at first as the V4 wouldn't calibrate. Read the help files and re-leveled the scale with a slight upwards angle and then it calibrated ok. Had to add a little more upwards angle to get close to the recommended .20g/s. Otherwise it seems to run much faster with the new software, maybe too fast for me. We'll see.
 
With the attached (post updated) H4350 profile and the Ingenuity Precision finisher I’m getting about 13 sec per throw and few or no overthrows. I loaded 100 like this yesterday. Wondering if that’s about what others are using.

I think I need to slow something down as I am getting too many overthrows. Running about 10 seconds or maybe a tad less with H4350.
 
Im not diggin the new software..its made my V4 more unreliable as in over throws.
Im ready to switch back to version 1.0
Just my messing with it for two days straight...got me feelin a bit sour...sorry
I bet its ok in the long run...just not yet
I may need to run it on a Android platform....IOS doesnt seem to co-operate for me.

I've installed the update on my Android phone -- and it now won't calibrate... Getting an error "Parameters not loaded, try reconnecting". Anybody else seen this? The AT4 device still works and I can change weights but something isn't quite talking when I attempt calibration.

I've sent some emails with all my device info and screenshots to Adam.

Yesterday, I opened the app with the new version and the display had the color interface, however, today I'm now having the same issue as you. Awaiting on a response from Adam. I use an iphone 6+.
 
My V3 seemed to trickle a bit slower and I had to adjust the angle to speed it up a bit.
Overall it I’d say it was a minor improvement though I had no complaints before.
Absolutely love the V3.
 
Great post. Keep the info coming. For now, I think I will hold off on upgrading my V4. The old version is working flawlessly for me and I would be a little irritated if the upgrade made things worse.
 
There will be a learning curve for sure....its not as cut and dry like the 1.0 version.
Im sill trying to get it right...on my third day..Perhaps I will try android tomorrow and see how that works.
