USPS at it's finest, I think it's running late

I received a package yesterday that was shipped on 12/5. 3 day priority shipping, estimated delivery 12/8. But hey, it got here in one piece. It was in KCKS as of last Friday or Saturday, 40 miles away.

Seems to be working well here. It might take 3d for what would be normal 2d shipping, but in this environment that doesn't seem too bad. UPS and FED-EX seem to have about the same delay.

scope went out from Cave City Ky.( about 50 mi. south of Louisville) on Dec. 8, arrived in Nashville Tn. on Dec. 16, went up to Indianapolis on the 17th and is now "in transit" on the 19th

Bob Green sent me one of my reamers, one of my tuners and some cash in a small flat rate priority box. He mailed it on the 1st and I just got it yesterday. From York, PA to Maine. It's always been slow after Thanksgiving but it's slower than normal this year because of this Covid BS.

When USPS took on Amazon and added no staff to help you knew it was gonna affect the system, maxing out a system that was already running thin. The four ladies at our local small town PO are working hard, they really need some help.

My packages going out and coming in priority have been pretty hit and miss, some arrive as normal, surprisingly quick for this time of year but the majority of them get hung up at the Phoenix hub and you can watch them sit there for various lengths of time, sometimes they don’t move for 4-5 days. Hopefully when the holiday pass it levels out again. I’m 180 miles out of Phoenix.

I am 10 days to two weeks out on late delivery of 3 packages, Priority mail. UPS is getting packages here without delay. Are any of you experiencing the same late delivery of Priority mail packages?

yes I shipped 3 packages same day Dec 8.... 1 package just arrived other 2 say arriving late...they were shipped priority

USPS First Class package service. Picked up on Nov 27, made it to Birmingham AL Distribution center on Nov 30, and hasn't moved since.

Still waiting on package from Indiana mailed on Dec. 4th. Tracking stopped on the 8th.

I am also waiting on one from Indiana, going to Cleveland. It was mailed on the 7th, and I got notice in the tracking that it would be delivered on a certain day some time back. It never happened, then tracking changed to "In Transit", with no changes since then.

I shipped the scope to him I'm in goodnight area cave city address....he lives in Indiana up the road and I shipped calipers down the road in Ala they got there today...it's slow

I didn't see your post, one guy got the calipers I sold him, but both scopes say arriving late and I paid extra for priority shippin

11-23, scope rail shipped from IL.
11-29, arrives Memphis TN facility.
12-20, miraculously arrives in Memphis again.
12-21 arrives in Ft Lauderdale.
12-22, in my mailbox at 0703.

One day shy of a month for a two day package.

USPS Priority Mail is a joke! The ex-wife sent some Christmas cookies to my son and it took 9 days to get from N.C. to Maryland. Stopped in 4 cities in N.C. then on to Edgerton, Kansas before heading to D.C. distribution center where they sat for 2 days before getting to the local P.O.

I suspect that all of their recent election fraud efforts have put them behind schedule.

I'm still waiting on 5 USPS Priority Mail packages that shipped as far back as the 8th. 3 days my butt!

I really needed a couple scope bases for 2 builds I'm finishing up, but I refuse to order anything that is going to ship USPS. One of the missing packages is actually a scope base from Midway.

Decided to drive to Basspro instead of taking a chance with another USPS package. Round trip, shopping and checkout took just over an hour and they had the Savage LA and Rem 700 SA Leopold bases. Well worth the ride and I won't be waiting on them for the next month.
