USPS..maybe a record?

Scope I bought shipping on May 5th from Missouri to Hamilton,MT.Leaves MO,goes to Kansas,back to MO,back to Kansas.Then to Billings,back to Kansas,back to MO.Then to Kansas,then to Billings. This morning Package in transit...to arrive late...REALLY ? We are at 14 days...this is First Class .So maybe I might see it tomorrow? the 19th.
Update May 21st. Postmaster able to track it and have it return to sender. the return address was larger and next to tracking label. So machines would send it my way( tracking label)...the next machine would send it back( to sender,being larger address). SOOOO supposedly it will be remailed Monday . So we now know...keep return address up in corner.Make main label larger and by tracking label? We shall see! Think positive!

USPS needs a rate hike, with high fuel it's not cheap to make laps.

Sent a First Class package to Minnesota. Left here, hit San Francisco distribution center then on to St. Paul, the back to SF, then back to St Paul, then back to SF. Think it made the trip about 6 times before somebody jumped on the belt and stopped it.
All the traveling and NO Air Miles. What a rip off!!

Thats why i try not to ship usps . Pretty much piss poor service. But then i remember they are government employees. Tommy Mc

I still haven't seen the Brownells order that supposedly was delivered to my home via Fedex last Wednesday.

Over the weekend, I reached out to Brownells via email, got a canned response that they would get back to me , and have heard nothing since. I have a feeling that they are pretty slammed with this kind of stuff right now.

Best shipping deal you will ever get, ship next day, no chance in hell it will get there, go back to PO and get a full refund. Yes I have done it.

And this is why I use UPS . Go there mid-afternoon on Wednesday. Send a box to my smith in Georgia AND…. he gets it that Friday! One day of shipping time!

Sent a Priority mail envelope from Denver to Grand Jct, Co on Friday May 6th. 2 day mail. Supposed to be there Monday May 9th. finally delivered Monday May 16th at 4:07 pm

USPS should stick to letters only. They are truly pathetic at delivering packages. I have had them pull into my driveway and blow the horn. If I don't come out within a few seconds and take the package from them through the window of their car, they will drive away and leave a note on my box that describes the package as "undeliverable." I then have to leave work early to drive to the Post Office and retrieve the package myself. I asked our Postmaster one day why they had a driver who was too trifling to do the basic functions of their job. Apparently "trifling" was the Postmaster's trigger word because she got mad as hell at me for daring to expect that the driver actually step out of their vehicle to deliver the package. I guess I just expect too much of them..........

There are six postal unions, hard for them to fire a postal employee!

If someone can't speak English, read a computer screen, can't get along with others, they get extra points in getting hired by the PO! One bad Postal employee can screw up an entire town!

I have had USPS items go missing for a time but they always arrive (usually later). Priority Mail (air) is a great bargan compared to UPS or FedEx. Take advantage of your tax dollars at work!

How about some positive story?
Purchased a scope mount from EGW in PA at 915AM CDT. It was in my mailbox on 5/14!
Standard UPSP Priority shipping.
In a time where most packages from larger companies don't even get to the shipper within 4 days after your order this was sterling service.
Oh, and the USPS didn't play with the package for two weeks!

There ya go. All in all they are on and everything arrives on time pretty much. This one threw me a loop in tracking it daily and watching the package going backwards instead of forward......

That is essentially saying that they screw up 1 out of every 5 deliveries. Unacceptable by a long shot.
