Using Quickload and hBN

based on this data moly looks better. QC recommends .66 for moly. I'd use between .66 - .71

Hexagonal Boron Nitride coefficient of Friction (COF)
0.15 to 0.70

Molybdenum disulfide
friction coefficient values of <0.1

MLC, I've been using the .66 value and getting pretty close. strobes is probably correct that the value should be between .66 and .71 Guess I'll have to try messing with that number and seeing if I can get chrono readings to match QL predictions closer than about .5 grains off or so.

strobes: tungsten disulfide is better cof =.03 it's more stable and doesn't produce bad compounds at higher barrel temperatures like moly. It also appears to plate better on copper. The ones I have coated retained the coating without using wax and left less on the fingers when seating bullets.

boron nitride makes less mess though which is why I think more people will use it.
