Using Hornady 223 comparator insert for .243?

Seems I have misplaced my .243 Hornady comparator insert to get base to ogive measurements. Will the .223 insert work just as well? Gets it higher on the ogive, but I assume it would still be consistent?

If you are using it to just get a repeatable datum then it will work fine. Those measurements will only be relevant to that insert and nothing else.
