Using a neck and throat reamer

I recently finished a .338 Norma magnum and the rifle shoots awesome at a mile. But I have to push the rds home hard for the last little bit of travel. Upon investigating, I find that the throat is .338 with no clearance. After making a call to the reamer mfg. I was told that the Norma Mag USA reamer needs neck and throat reamer also! I wasn't told this when I ordered the reamer.

My question is, is this an operation that I can do by hand with a T handle to give the throat a few tenths clearance? I have another match on Sat and time is of the essence since its the last match of the season.

A picture of the rubbed bullets after chambering is attached below.

Thanks for your input.

Sounds like you need a uni throater. You can do the operation by hand. Make sure you specify exactly what you want and re iterate it like 10 times when ordering it. Then go back over your order to make sure they wrote down a uni throater.

If you are unsure of what you need, demand to talk to someone who does!

You can also do it with a decimal reamer. Get a .3385" reamer and run it in by hand. Use a bore scope and go in small steps so you don't go too far in. The reamer will follow the existing hole so there is no need for a pilot.
