I have a freind who is looking at buying a used older target gun from a buddy. its a nice burly wood stock,dinged up quite a bit)built on an old well worn FN action. side bolt stop blued action. bolt handle has a small flat on the bottom. looks to have an adjustable trigger. and its got a 20X unertil external adjustment scope with a custom made scope mount rail. the barrel is fairly heavy SS in polished finish. there are two tapped holes ontop of the barrel? its chambered in 6.5-06 and barrel seems to be in decent shape. the seller is asking 600 for the gun. any idea on the rought value of this gun? Ill try and post a pic or two soon. thanks for any advice.

I can't give you an idea of the value of the gun without seeing a photo, but if the Unertl is in decent shape, the scope alone could be worth $500.00 or more.
