USA made RCBS 10-10?

Decades ago I had a RCBS 10-10 that was destroyed by movers. I really liked the 10-10 scale so a couple of years ago I purchased a replacement from Ebay. I know, no holds barred with Ebay. Still it's a very nice 10-10 and was wondering if it's a China, Mexico, or USA scale. Ir did not come with the original box.

This may help you to identify your 10/10

The OHAUS made scales can be tuned as I understand it. The china made stuff is junk! This may cause some reaction. But is fact!

These are photos of my scale. Scott Parker will not tune a 10-10 unless made in USA. Understandable. I sent these photos to Scott Parker and asked if this was a USA made scale and his reply was "Not a USA specific color". Not much help. So I am trying a different route to figure out if the is a USA made scale or not.

To my knowledge that is a scale that can be tuned. You have a very nice scale there.

I recently shipped a 10/10 to my Brother in law with a press (to get him started) and the 10/10 was not that nice. But still very accurate.

If you look at the bottom of your scale and see where it was manufactured it is a scale manufactured in the USA and can be tuned. But just to let you know.....I have heard that some of the China junk 10/10 scales where showing the OHAUS label. I am not a pro just a educated consumer. So do your homework and post it here.

Here's the deal. I send these pictures to Scott Parker and he says my scale is "Not a USA specific color". But then I send pictures of the base to this forum and am told that this is a USA made scale. Not trying to beat anyone up here. Just trying to get an answer.

Trust Scott

As i mentioned earlier there was a time when China boot legged the OHAUS label. Scott Parker is the master with these scales.

I have these two Ohaus scales, which one would be better to have Scott tune for me?

How precise is the scale now with check weights, would be my first question.
