RCBS 10-10 vs Lyman DPS 1200 accuracy

Anyone please comment on this phenomenon.

I have a RCBS 10-10 balance beam scale and a Lyman DPS 1200 digital powder dispenser.
When reloading I dispense the powder with the Lyman and then re-check and tweak it with the RCBS 10-10. I have noticed that with the majority of throws, I had to add powder to level the RCBS 10-10 to the preset load, i.o.w the RCBS was giving a lower reading (when the Lyman is not drifting).
This is done with no cell phone close by, no drafts etc and I now have a power filter on the wall socket.

On noticing this I dug out "long ago" purchased RCBS calibration weights, and low and behold the Lyman was reading spot on to the tenth at 53g of calibration weight. The same weights however was tilting the RCBS scale way off north. Any comments on this?

i may be mistaken but i believe the balance beam has two threaded lock nuts on the end away from the pan, they can be off, put the test weights in the pan set the scale to the weight then adjust the two nuts to get the correct "0"

The precision is excellent on the 10-10 but I need to improve the accuracy by calibration, will try your suggestion, thanx.
